Great to witness hundreds of Golden Plover (Pluvialis apricaria) in flight and subsquently resting in a nearby field. Golden plover have a gold plumage on their back and a black plumage on their front in summer. They are seen here In winter plumage when the black front plumage is replaced by buff and white.
