Little Grebe & Juvenile enjoying breakfast!

These very small waterbirds are fantastic swimmers dipping under the surface in hunt for food. I had the privilege to watch this adult and juvenile hunt for breakfast on the River Lagan. The adult was regularly catching small fish and passing them to a hungry youngster!
