Snowcapped Mournes

This shot was taken on a bright, cold, crisp, winter day in the Mourne Mountains. Shot from the snowline on Doan mountain, the view from left to right includes the snowcapped summits of Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Donard (Northern Ireland's highest point at 850m)and Slieve Lamagan. This photo has previously featured on UTV News. Doan at 593m may not be one of the highest mountains but it does offer some of the best views in the Mournes!
