Swallow - Perched and Calling

Swallow - Perched and Calling - Nature
Swallows (Hirundo rustica) are very fast and agile in flight. They can be identified by their dark, glossy-blue backs, whitish pale underparts and long forked tail. On closer inspection you will notice red markings around the throat. Photographed here at Oxford Island on the shores of Lough Neagh in County Armagh, N.Ireland.
