Doolough Pass, County Mayo, Ireland.

Doolough Pass is a picturesque drive between the Mweelrea mountains and Sheeffry Hills in County Mayo. At the far end of the lough you can see the summit of Ben Creggan. Pictured in the foreground is the memorial to those who died during the Great Irish Famine in this valley as they made an arduous journey from Louisburg to the nearby Delphi Lodge. The wooden post on the right is part of a series of such posts marking areas of interest along the Wild Atlantic Way.
