Magical Narnia!

Magical Narnia! - Mourne Mountains
The Mourne Mountains are said to have inspired CS Lewis to create his magical kingdom of Narnia. On days like this I can see why! Icy cold, but not a breathe of wind and a setting sun behind clouds made this landscape spectacular. The Mourne Wall leads the eye directly to Doan Mountain. To the left is Ben Crom and behind Slieve Binnian. To the right Loughshannagh and the mountain ridge leading to Slieve Muck. A beautiful homewardbound walk through Narnia awaited me. Bliss!
