Winter Sunrise Over the Mournes 1

After a cold icy night the sun rises beyond Rocky Mountain to light up the snow clad Mournes. It tinges the clouds surrounding the mountain tops red to give an atmospheric vista. With fresh winds and cloud cover the view was constantly changing. At times Slieve Binnian was in full view and clouded the next. Early morning light striking across the valley to light up the crags on Lower Cove was stunning. Truly, a winter wonderland!
